Mid-Term and Summer Courses

We offer a range of midterm and summer courses. All courses will involve the basics (below).

Half-day and full day options available. For ages 3.5-6, our classes will involve mime, drama games, poetry speaking, story performance, story telling, arts and crafts, musical theatre (dancing and singing) and puppetry!

For older groups, our classes will involve our basic classes – speech, drama, mime, and a murder mystery event. Then we will also have extra courses available on certain weeks – film-making (make a short film in a week!), musical theatre – singing, dancing and acting (learn a scene from a popular musical in a week), audition work – work on CVs, get professional looking headshots taken, and put together a showreel for casting agents. The availability of these courses will depend on the interest for particular weeks.

There will be additional themes depending on the time of year, for example:

February Midterm Course: includes preparation of Irish Poetry, Stories, and Plays in preparation for participation in the St. Patrick’s Day Festival.

Easter Midterm Course: for younger students this includes poetry spring themed work and for older students this includes Shakespeare.

Summer Courses: the students devise their own scenes and films. Teenage students can take part in a large production over two weeks.

October: spooky poems and stories as well as costume making ahead of Halloween.
