Ages 9-12 Full Day Course


Includes content from the morning and afternoon course for this age group. Morning course consisting of drama games, poetry speaking, mime, story performance, story telling, arts and crafts, musical theatre (dancing and singing) puppetry, creative writing, a murder mystery event, film-making, voice-over work and more. Students will work on some solo and group performance pieces that will be filmed and sent to parents on the last day of class. Short break halfway through. Students in the afternoon course will be working on a full production of a live performance on the weekend following the course end. Previous live performances have taken place in OPW venues including Dublin Castle, Farmleigh House, Rathfarnham Castle, The Pearse Museum. In some courses students will work on a short film instead. This time is dedicated to the production rehearsals, and students in the main cast must sign up for both weeks (single week option available for Dundrum)
