Feis Maitiu 2023 Cancelled
The Feis Maitiu competition typically takes place in the second week of May each year. Due to unforeseen circumstance, it has been cancelled. We hope that it will be back up and running next year.
Betty Ann Norton Drama Feis
In lieu, we are offering our own smaller version of the Feis on the week of May 8th-12th in Taney Parish Centre Dundrum. We have organised the competitions for each age group to occur on the same day so that there will be minimal school missed. However, typically the Feis Maitiu is spread over multiple days. So this is something to keep in mind for future events.
The competition is a nice opportunity for students of the same age group from each of our venues in Rathmines, Dundrum, Dun Laoghaire and Castleknock to gather in the same place. They can view the performance material that their peers have been working on for the past few months. As well, for those students who will be going on to complete exams, it will be great to get feedback from an external adjudicator about their performance material.
Finally, this is a great opportunity for students to practice performing in front of others as a group, as well as individually. We have found that taking part in these events ourselves as children have immensely helped our ability to speak in public with comfort. Parents and families are welcome to come to the events to watch the performances. We hope it will be a great day out! There is no cost for participation. Please feel free to enrol in as many competitions as you’d like. However, we have limited spaces available in the solo competitions so please only enrol if you know you will be free to attend.

Summer Camps
We are now taking bookings for our Summer Camps! Sign up directly through our website. There are camps for children in Junior Primary School (Junior Infants – 1st class) from 9am-1pm. For children in Senior Primary School (2nd – 6th Class), camps are fro 9am-3pm. There are even specialised courses for Teenagers (1st – 6th year). Visit our Summer Camps page to find out more.
