We are so excited to announce that we have weekly Speech and Drama classes starting in Castleknock!

Due to the success of our summer camps, we are delighted to offer weekly speech and drama classes in Castleknock. This will suit those living in the surrounding areas of Clonee, Blanchardstown, Dunshaughlin, Ratoath and Ashbourne.

What after school classes are on offer in Castleknock?

Join us on Fridays in Castleknock Parish Centre. We will begin by offering our Speech and Drama classes for children age 3.5-5, 6-8 and 9-12 year olds.

Castleknock Speech and Drama Class Timetable:

1:45pm-2:45pm – Step 1 Speech and Drama Class for preschoolers (Ages 3-5 montessori-junior infants) This 1 hour class provides a great introduction to the world of speech and drama. It will feature poetry speaking, mime, stories, improvisation, exercises for clear speech, and lots of fun games. The fee is €200 per term. We have 3 terms per academic year.

2:45pm-4:15pm Step 2 Speech and Drama (Ages 6-8 senior infants-2nd class) This 90 minute class bridges the gap between step 1 and the junior class. With the options to take part in Feis Maitiu poetry competitions and an Initial speech and drama examination at the end of the year. The fee is €300 per term. We have 3 terms per academic year.

4:15pm-6:45pm Junior Speech and Drama (Ages 9-12 3rd-6th Class): This 2.5 hour class is broken into two parts. Speech class — exercises for clear and confident speech, reading aloud, story-telling and public speaking, solo performance pieces. Drama class — group scenes, improvisation, mime, and character work. In the Autumn term students work on a showreel monologue and a group play performed at the end of term in a Dublin venue. In the two terms after Christmas students work on a variety of solo and group performance pieces for Feis competitions and Trinity College London Speech and Drama exams. The fee is €500 per term. We have 3 terms per academic year totalling 30 weeks.

We also offer a full agency service free of charge to all students which includes having headshots taken, being sent for relevant auditions, and help preparing for auditions and developing showreel pieces.
